Registering with EBS for my CAIA Level I exam is the best investment I have ever made for my future. The lectures, led by the brilliant and experienced Russell Jude, cover all the relevant concepts and computations with depth and understanding. Even though I faced enormous adversity during this period, the EBS prep programme placed me at a clear advantage for my CAIA Level I exam compared to another provider I had used. I used Edge, specifically Russell’s lectures and notes, for CAIA L1 September 2020. I had other prep materials and even a different provider’s lecture but found Russell and EDGE to be the most helpful! His simple breakdown and explanation of each learning objective and delivery through YouTube videos going line by line through notes (that you have copies of!) helped me to lock in on topics or concepts that I had previously struggled with. On top of that, Russell helped someone like me (not in the industry very long) take some of the fear out of the exam. He made passing CAIA feel attainable and gave me the confidence I needed. Always available via email or WhatsApp, the notes, videos and guidance were the final element to get me a passing score. I immediately reached out to him to let him know because I truly believe I wouldn’t have passed without him.

Where to begin....Well, I started with a leading brand name, studying their materials because I knew no better and they advertise all over the place. Then I started to look around a bit because the material was a little harder than I anticipated and that highly advertised group was not cutting it.  That's when I found Edge and Russell. They were offering a complimentary look into Topic 2: Into to Alts.  Which, as you will find is no intro, its advanced and in-depth. After listening to Russell's approach and the way that he teaches, I was hooked. There is a way that I can't quite put into words, that Russell simplifies all the complicated material.  In short, he teaches you what you need to know. It seemed that countless times when I was stuck on topic all I had to do was listen to Russell.  It may not have "stuck" the first time I heard it but I played it over and over and until the "light bulbs went off"  and it was finally engrained. One other issue with the other group was speed, or lack there of,  in getting questions answered.  Russell was always quick, timely and thorough with his explanations. I am 100% positive that the reason I passed Level 1 and mastered some of the material is due to the teaching style of Russell and the Edge material.  That is why I am using them for Level 2. I would use them and clearly I endorse them for any studying one would require for an advanced certification.

While preparing to sit for CAIA LI, I struggled to understand and retain some of the material. Signing up for the Edge course was a game changer. Concise notes and focused lectures brought desirable clarity and many “aha!” moments. I can’t thank enough Russell for his continuous feedback and heartfelt support both of which helped me to built confidence I needed to pass the exam.
